  2. That was NOT the basis by which the judge made the drug illegal! Pro-life dogma is the REAL issue, but the judge banned the drug by claiming that it was not proven safe by the FDA! That was the flimsy (and sleazy) basis for his decision! This should be easy to overturn, as the FDA is charged with drug approval based on the safety and efficacy of the drug, and NOT the moral implications of the drug!!

  3.  @johnny.d.1930  I guess you didn't read (or understand) my comment! The judge exercised his pro-life belief by making a perfectly "safe and effective" drug illegal by ruling that the drug is now NOT safe anymore!! It is completely outside the judge's purview to be ruling whether a particular drug is safe or not (we have a federal agency that does that)! The LEGAL issue is NOT whether using the drug is morally acceptable, but that's what inspired the ruling! That's why it was a sleazy ruling!!

  5. You misunderstand! The decision overturns the FDA approval of the drug, which means that the drug is (theoretically) illegal to produce and sell in the US! It's a very flimsy ruling, as we all know the REAL reason that the judge ruled this way! He has a PRO-LIFE agenda!!

  6.  @johnny.d.1930  An early stage "fetus" isn't even called a fetus, it's called a zygote! It's the size of a pinhead, and doesn't resemble a human at all (even under the microscope)! It is literally a collection of cells! The drug is not "safe" for the zygote, any more than chemotherapy drugs are "safe" for the cancer!

  7. This sleazy judge ruled that the drug is "not safe", even though it was approved by the FDA 20 years ago as safe and effective!! We all know the judge's REAL agenda is pro-life dogma!! The republicans will do ANYTHING to get their way, since they can no longer win elections!!
