@ericvolkman1490 Not everyone with college loans has a college degree! And besides, people are doing the best they can and may never pay their loans back!! The big banks have screwed those people, and now we should screw the big banks in return!!

@grega2362 If the issue is so simple then why is the Supreme Court considering the case?? Obviously, you don't understand what's at stake! The colleges, with help from the big banks (who lobbied for loan guarantees) have created an entire generation of debtors!! Forgiving those loans will NOT solve the problem, but it is a big first step! The university system still needs to be reformed in a big way!!

@grega2362 If the court holds for the plaintiffs, then you would be correct. If it holds for the defendant, you would be wrong! Just to be clear, it has nothing to do with whether it's your problem to pick up someone else's loan balance!! That's just your ego knocking!!

@1bntcr001 A few stupid outliers are NOT the problem!! The problem is that students were conned into taking out massive loans that they could never repay! A 17 year old has no idea what his/her financial picture will be in 5 years!!
