Are they still hammering away about this incident! This was an illegal gun runner who decided to shoot it out with the feds! But this Director is pathetic!

@ShaggyRogers1 Get your facts straight! Malinowski was purchasing large amounts of firearms and selling them at gun shows and parking lots on multiple occasions! The ATF conducted several undercover buys from him! Three of the guns he sold showed up at crime scenes! He never made any attempt to conduct background checks on anyone he sold to, and he had no FFL! ATF had more than probable cause to arrest him, and to obtain a search warrant for his home! I will concede that kicking his door in at 6am was unnecessary, and they should have arrested him first!

@The-Caged-King It keeps changing! I watched a video of the local news where it happened and they said that he bought and sold at least 150 guns, and that 6 of them showed up at crimes! That fact is actually irrelevant. But I think anyone would agree that he crossed the line into FFL territory!

@The-Caged-King The whole question about FFLs is not so cut and dried! In the end it's the ATF's call! If this was a hobby then why was he selling in parking lots! He was under surveillance since last year, so I doubt it was a hobby! The problem with this case is why did ATF execute their warrant at 6am, and why didn't they arrest him for questioning first!

@The-Caged-King Like I said, there is no bright line between when you are a "business" or when you are a casual seller! Nevertheless, the ATF had plenty of opportunity to intercept and question this man! Why they became so unhinged is anyone's guess!
