  2.  @Old940  Well, we disagree! There's always a balance of power between labor and business! What has happened in the last 30 years is exactly the opposite of what you said! Corporate power has exploded, while unions have seriously declined! We badly need to re-balance in favor of labor!!

  5.  @booyahinc  They're bound to support the shareholder! That's exactly why we have collective bargaining laws! We have increasingly become a "shareholder economy", the result of which is the slow demise of the middle class! I hope you'll agree that income inequality is historically high in this country! Is that a good thing??

  7.  @Old940  It's much more complex than that! You're correct that labor is expensive here! But look at the big picture. If we buy everything from overseas, then all our factory jobs will disappear, and working people will be out of jobs! So, is it really cheaper (in the long run) to buy everything from China!??
