  1. The period of initial occupation lines up broadly with the Natufians who created the first semi-permanent and permanent villages due to a natural abundance of wild wheat. And their civ, as the global warming period came to an end around 10,000BP and the wild wheat diminished led into the deliberate cultivation of crops in that part of the world.

  3. I incline to the belief that whoever came up with the Greek constellations was high as a kite, because none of them look remotely like what they are supposed to represent. That saucepan/ladle shaped "bear" being a classic example.
