  1. The other HUGE Issues are: 1. The Earth is running out of Lithium. 2. Manufacturing those batteries is extremely bad for the environment anyway, plus so much of the world still uses Fossil Fuels and Nuclear to generate electricity so EVs aren't any better for the environment than Internal Combustion anyway, in fact they can be much worse. 3. The Batteries have a maximum life of about 10 years, 5 years with Fast Charging, after which the car is a Write Off. 4. Everyone knows Hydrogen is the real answer, it's no slower to refuel than an LPG pump, doesn't need tons of batteries and the exhaust is pure water. And you don't need a new battery pack that costs the same as a new car after 5 years. The tech already exists, it just needs infrastructure, which could be accommodated by existing Fuel companies if they though it worth the investment. The cost versus the infrastructure for Fast Charging makes it more viable too.

  2. Got the same proprietary charge nonsense in Australia too. If they don't stanadarise they will never be competitive, they are just shooting their entire industry io the foot by refusing to cooperate. In addition to all tghe other issues which mean EVs will always suck., H2 is the Future.
