Seriously? You think they added to Moraine and Siuan by making them lesbians which adds nothing except perhaps "woke" ideals of militant post-feminism; but more importantly is another character betrayal because spoiler alert, both have male love interests in the later books that are Vital Plot Points (or at least Siuan's is, Moraines comes out of nowhere, but is linked to a Vital Plot Development).

To anyone who has read the books, this show is extremely offensive. A complete betrayal of the books. Rings of Power with its complete abandonment of the source material was inoffensive because it wasn't a twisted mockery of the beloved books the way this trash was.

Not really aging up, more compensating for an issue with the books that does exist. Rand, Matt and Perrin are 20 in The Eye of the World, Egwene a year younger, Nyneve a few years older. But despite being around 20 years old, they act like they are 15. Frankly it would have made more sense to age 'down' the characters so their actual ages match their mental ages.

What makes the Rand, Egwene stuff even more annoying is there is no reason why Wisdoms can't marry. Its uncommon, but hardly forbidden.

The changes to the lore so that a woman can be the Dragon had nothing to do with making it "less boring." Its because of the showrunners militant post-feminist ideas that the only way to have strong female characters is to have the men be weak and pointless and the women either be Mary Sues who can do anything without effort, or incompetent Tyrants who demand obedience without ever giving a reason to respect them. Its no different in this show than in The Last Jedi.

I'm sorry, but no matter how well choreographed, the idea of a woman In Labour effortlessly cutting down an entire squad of seasoned soldiers in full plate armour is just stupid! Its an unnecessary scene thrown in to again show badass woman defeats weak men. Common sense and physics be damned.
