  2.  @jessicakrios9382  I know. But it had to be said. There is a movie called The Final Countdown (1980) where the Nimitz and Only the Nimitz is sent back to just before Pearl Harbor. But they get sent back to present before they engage more than a couple of scout zeroes. Frankly the biggest problem with that entire movie is the captain is so stupid he does nothing to secure POWs who would rather die than be captured, no cuffs or Brig, and it goes about as well as you'd expect.

  3. My first thought was, why not send in ground forces, avoid the whole death canyon or SAMs issue entirely.
