  1. You need to react to some of the old Hard Earned Thirst VB adds. Oh and all these private signs aside, (I suspect the rude outback signs are on Stations at that), the official anti-drinking slogan sponsored by the TAC government body was "If you drink then drive, you're a bloody idiot", which certainly summed it up a lot better than the modern PC adds do.

  3. Australia did away with local area codes in the 90s, adding the last 2 numbers of the 3 digit area codes to the standard number. States still have additional numbers though that you plug in before the main number if calling interstate, taken from the old capital area codes. , 02 for NSW, 03 for Victoria.
