  2. University hasn't been free since the 90s. Any citizen can cover 100% of the cost with a Government Loan that you don't have to start paying back till your earnings reach a safe threshold, but most people will still being paying off that loan when they reach retirement age. Also Australian Universities are critically underfunded, relying heavily on foreign students and their fees to keep the lights on, which means less places available for Australians.

  3. Even just Video Games, there is all that whining about companies charging over $60 for games after keeping it the same price for 30 years. We have been paying $90-110 for new games for the last 20 years.
