  1. 21 seems insanely high for years of expected schooling unless you are going for a Doctorate. I mean 1 for Kinder, 7 for Primary, 6 for High School, 3 for Bachelors, 1 for Honours and 2 year Masters Degree would still be short. It would have to be max years for the highest level degrees rather than a national average.

  2. I've been in that position in Melbourne 10 years ago where I was spending 70% of my income on Rent, it was impossible. My Credit Cards got maxed out even with my parents help, in the end I had to move back in with my Retired parents.

  3. Actually you should round Net Australian salaries down, because they don't account for GST which is a 10% tax on every purchase.
