  1. We don't call sofas lounges, we call them couches and flats and units are different things in Australia. A Unit is a standalone small house on a property with several other units, a flat is more like what you call a condo, sharing walls but opening on to a communal balcony or verandah, and an apartment is when the common passage is indoors.
