  1. If the aboriginal flag has a black stripe where the rope goes, then its official and the money iirc goes to an aboriginal charitable fund. If its white, then its an unlicensed reproduction. There was a bit of furor when .Cathy Freeman held a repro flag during her victory lap in 2000.but as she says, its the flag that matters, not who owns it.

  2. The Australian flag needs some serious changesa anyway. It should be Green and Gold, with no Union Jack. Thee only question is what form it shiuld take. I favour just having a gold roo on a green background personally.
