  1. I feel that there could be a lot more representative photos, from Collins Class Trams to the Big Kangaroo, or even that Dunlop sign across the entrance to WA.

  2. 40 Degrees C isn't uncommon in summer even down in Victoria, hot enough to partially melt the tar in the roads. Up north, it can top 50 C.

  3. I remember as a child I used to ride to karate along Canadian Creek in Ballarat, and every few seconds there'd be thump against my helmet as a magpie swooped me. Helmets, not just for when you fall off.
