  1. It'd be a fly. There's an expression: The Great Australian Wave, referring to the fact that you spend all your time waving away flies when someone tries to take a pic of you, or just having a conversation, or just walking down the street.

  2. Returning Boomerangs were originally made from carefully selected tree roots with a twist in them, good for hunting birds as you got two passes at a flock with one throw. Modern returning boomerangs have a planed down aerofoil edge on one length to take advantage of aerodynamics to make them return. If its angled wrong they might return 50ft to the side of the thrower, but they still curve back.

  3. This is why most people hunt rabbits with a .22 Rifle. That said, in built up areas where shooting is illegal and the rabbits gather by the dozen in open grass areas, this could be a thing.
