  1. The floods in NSW and Qld have become an annual event, they have happened every year for several years, this is a particularly bad year. The government 'could' do something about it, but that would be preparing for disaster instead of reacting to it, and they don't like that, it would mean spending money on projects for the future of the country. Plus its to do in part with climate change, and the Liberals can't admit that's a thing. Besides Morrison and the Liberals don't care about 40,000 homeless citizens, they only care about the millionaires and billionaires who bankroll their party.

  2. At the time of WW2, Darwin and Brisbane really weren't cities, especially Darwin which is still small today.
