  1. Watch some Steve Lehto, HOA's are apparently far more common in America than even Americans realise, practically unheard of in the rest of the world, we just have councils. Town, city, shire council, its local government. They maintain the parks and roads, but don't dictate what colour your blinds can be.

  3. You may recall that Obama tried to pass a bill to require guns bought online to be registered same as if bought in a store, a bill supported by the NRA, and it still got voted down.

  4. Your talking about taking food home with you, Doggy bags are an American only thing, you eat at the restaurant, you don't take it home with you. ALso, while I haven't been to America, there was the whole Super Size Me fiasco 20 years back, those super sizes weren't even sold in Australia, and our Large drinks are closer to your mediums.

There's two options to pay the minimum wage, increase prices by 20% and pay employees their federally mandated wage which is 20 years behind the inflation curve, or, and charge less but require people to leave a tip to cover the fact that you are paying employees 20% less than the federally mandated minimum wage which is 20 years behind the inflation curve. No brainer right? Its the customers fault for not tipping, not the owners fault for not paying them enough.

  6. Well they save a few dollars on the cost of the stall, every penny counts right? We have similar high stall doors in Australia, they suck. Plus kids like to lock the doors from the inside and crawl out, just for pranks.
