  2. I've never had Emu, but I have heard its very chewy if not cooked right. Cook's party tried to roast some like a chicken, which was not the right way.

  3. They're Stations mate, not Ranches and its pretty harsh terrain to make a go of it, though some have. But as you travel through SA there are a lot of abandoned Squats and Selections from the 19th century, wiped out by drought.

  4. Its at least a few hours drive from Adelaide. 6 hours from Adelaide to Eyre because you have to go around the bay. 3 hours just to the mountains.

  5. Infinite Possibilities is definitely a slogan from one of the state tourism adds, can't remember which. Could be SA, think its Qld.

  6. The Flinders from what I remember are desert plains on one side and forests on the other. Its quite the contrast, there is one point as you exit away from Adelaide where you exit the forested mountains and there is a lookout and the view. oh my god, you have to experience it to understand.
