  1. Will Germany and Russia ever repay Poland for WWII? Will Russia ever repay Finland for the lands they still occupy to this day? How can France repay Europe for Napoleon? How can Turkey repay the West for the evils committed by the Ottomans for a millennium? They still hold Constantinople. But then the West should also repay Turkey for the Crusades I guess. How can Italy repay all of Europe and northern Africa for the rise and fall of the Roman Empire? Its not the Colonial Past holding these countries back, its corrupt governments today and being sorry for events 100 years ago, 200 years ago, 500 years ago is all well and good but reparations are silly. Wars are won and lost.
