  2.  @Sweet-Rat-Milk  , @moonmoonStar Celebrating the day you achieved Independence or naming a city after a general is hardly the same thing. If the United States Army was still called the Revolutionary Army then that would be the same. As for the argument that its to stop further revolutions, that isn't an argument at all, that's a reason for its existence and if so it ought to be called the Counter-Revolutionary Guard which would be a laugh. Oh and no one said Iranians were free. The evil of the Ayatollahs is well known and parr for the course. 99% of Revolutionary Governments are worse than the people they deposed and 100% of Theocracies are bad. Iran is both.
