  1.  @shinjig  Well their defence lawyer was sleeping with a witness for the prosecution; the complete lack of any attempt at defence can be traced to that. Certainly grounds for the appeal. Frankly the whole thing is a sham trial, in most of the incidents brought up by the prosecution character witnesses, even if they were admissible, the stars were not at fault, often they were the victims.

  2. There is also the fact that the 'breast incident' witness slept with the defence lawyer during the trial, which may be why he didn't mount any actual defence. The act of making the video, which could have been used as evidence to catch the car thief, could have been argued as passive intervention. And even if all the prosecution character witnesses were admissible, for 90% of those incidents the 4 accused were actually in the right which a competent lawyer could have used as rebuttal. Even 'breast lady,' while the sexual assault was their bad actions; her decision to become promiscuous isn't their fault.
