  1. There's a good video on YouTube of the Canadians testing an Owen alongside several other SMGs in 1941, including Sten and Thompson. Full Dust Test at that. The Owen was the clear winner, wasn't even close. Search for owen service test.

  2. Sten Gun was also about half the cost of a Grease Gun to manufacture. But the Grease Gun was more reliable.
