  1. Its nice how in order to improve can safety can openers have evolved from leaving a sharp lid that can be thrown away, to making the can top itself razor sharp. I wonder why you didn't discuss the second kind, maybe its not so common in the US? This is definitely an improvement on both kinds and should be the new standard.
