One thing that wasn't mentioned in the video(probably because authors didn't knew): major part of Ukraine's corruption is a result of Russia's inside job. Prorussian politicians, prorussians policemen, prorussian sitizen - they know that EU doesn't like corruption and they use it very effectively. Until 2019, when "Servant of the People", president's party, started to rule, we didn't realize how deeply rooted were Russian corruption inside Ukraine, and now it became to hard to clean. "Servant of the People" just made everything noticeably worse.
