  4. 2:00 - NO! Comparing it is highly disrespectful and factually incorrect. As a Ukrainian, I am deeply hurt by comments like that. Ukraine has much more different culture compared to Russia, than New York compared to US. We ALWAYS wanted to be our own thing. We have history that predates Russia for hundreds of years. Stop thinking that everything in this world happens because it was America's fault. Ukraine was in conflict with Russia before America was even colonized. We just decided to befriend US because you were Russia's rival. 2013's Revolution of Dignity was, in fact, a Revolution of Dignity, and not a coup. You conveniently forget the fact that pro-Russian president Yanukovych was THE most corrupt president in Ukraine's history, and the fact that Russia backed him meant that Russia was as corrupt as he did. Ukrainians knew that, and we didn't want to have any of that. Quoting Vladimir Pozner and John Mearsheimer is the most retarded thing you could have done. They are known liars and have no academic credibility. I like most of your videos, Jake, but this one is trash. You were even making the video about Russian mafia! You KNOW how bad everything is with Russia and corruption. Then why didn't you mention it!? Why not adress the concerns of Ukrainians with corruption? For others, I recommend Adam Something video on this topic. Compare two different positions
