Jake, politely: go fuck yourself. The framing is openly pro-Russian, making it look like they are not to blame for what is happening in Georgia and Ukraine. "Just defending themself, had no other choice" bullshit. Not to say that causal order is fucked. Osetians and Abkhazians didn't just "separated themself" from the mainland Georgia. Their decision was heavily influenced by Russian agents.
