Similar thing happened in 1957. Israelis forced USA and UK to abandon Hungary in return for Yemen/Egypt to be released by Russia. Israelis win. Ukrainians lose. On the brighter side, those Ukrainians that are still alive will be wiser.

Like in 1957, when USA/UK abandoned Hungary to Russia, in return for Russia retreating from helping Egypt and Yemen. History repeats.
