  7. No, both parties are not concerned about losing. It is not a symmetric war. Ukraine is weak, corrupt, and fighting only as a US mercenary. Ukraine cannot make fighters and missiles, US must pay for them and give them to Ukraine for free. That is not the case with Russia. Russia makes them, and can make as many as it needs. Russia has zero chance of losing. Russia will be at Ukraine's border forever. Ukraine, however, cannot keep relying on US cash and guns forever. Americans have zero interest in Ukraine. Ukraine has no oil/minerals or any strategic importance for USA. Ukraine is not Iraq. So... USA will eventually stop wasting money. Russia can wait forever for that time to come. Ukraine is indeed worried about losing because it is a one-way street for Ukraine. USA will stop spending cash on Ukraine. However, Americans are happy about the war. More Ukrainian men die, more Ukrainian women become free for the mail-order-bride business.

  8. In USA, there is a massive increase in anti-Russia propaganda 'news' on Yahoo. I consider Yahoo as a barometer of how the US government is trying to condition the American people. For weeks, Ukraine had all but disappeared from the news in Yahoo. Now it is back, and lots of Anti-Russia, Russia is evil, etc. propaganda news has started to appear. That (in my experience) indicates US government is trying to condition its people for US giving money to Ukraine to fight Russia.

  12. From california... most Americans can't find Ukraine on the map. We are given propaganda of Russia invading Ukraine out of the blue, all history of that region is censored. So 'some' Americans think it is OK for USA to support Ukraine. But majority don't care. Biden does not think Ukraine is a state. Biden does not think anything. His handlers are telling him to print money for US manufacturers to make and send weapons to Ukraine. Money is the motivation, and 'evil Russia' is the excuse. But it is wearing thin. Next week USA has elections (Congress/Senate) and Democrats will probably lose majority in both. That's what Americans are now interested in and Biden is just following orders of his handlers.

  13. All the gulf states are 'dictatorships' propped up by USA/UK. Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saud... not a single one is a democracy, so their governments do not represent the people. They are worried about their own people rising up against them. Saudis use Pakistani soldiers to guard the dictator family. Bin Laden proved that Saudis do want democracy and are willing to die for it.

  14. US soldiers could last a bit longer. There are lots of gays in US military now. And, as Eddie Izzard pointed out, if they put on fantastic makeup, this would be such a surprise to Russian soldiers that they wouldn't know what to do.... for a while at least, thereby extending the life of the US LGBTQ+ soldiers.

  17.  @mourka01  no. Kursk was lost because Russians got their act together and rained Germans with rockets and artillery. Even if Germans had 3 times the strength in soldiers and tanks, it would not matter. Artillery takes them all out. Napoleon learned this early in his life and conquered Europe with it (but he over-stretched). Germans learned this when 1 million Germans surrendered to Russia. Artillery is no good if you want to go for overseas adventures, like USA does all the time. But artillery is excellent in protecting your border and crossing over if you have to. US defense contractors make lots of money with 'high tech/high maintenance' weapons, which are great for fighting the beards in Afghanistan (even then, USA got booted out). Poor Ukrainians are learning this now.

  18.  @andrewpease3688  USA gave guns to the 'mujahedeen' (aka Taliban). So Russia left, because Russia did not want to fight USA. But, when US invaded Afghanistan, Russia was not supplying guns to Afghans. The Taliban 'dicked' Americans up their rectums with nothing but their beards. Come to a VA hospital in USA, and watch the thousands of Americans lining up for pain medications from that massive 'dicking' that Afghans gave Americans all by themselves. America is now rotting from inside out. BLM, Illegal Latinos, LGBT, Opioid addicts... these are America's growing populations. America is dicking itself much faster than anyone else could. Come to San Francisco and see the addicts pooping on the streets. That's America today.
