As I said elsewhere, this really is the worst possible location for it. There's an argument for the front left in that it is closest to the driver when they have to plug in and unplug every time they get in it out of the vehicle at home. There's an argument for the rear left to match Tesla and still be on the driver's side when they plug in and unplug. There's an argument for the front right in that it could still match Tesla chargers if you pull in forward instead of backing in, and it would get you on to the sidewalk side if looking at curbside charging. But there's just no excuse for the rear right. It's the absolute worst possible place they could have put it!

R3 will still need changes to that rear lighting to make it street legal. They point out that it doesn't wrap around, but there's no other lights on the side at the back either, that won't pass muster.

Any company that releases an EV with a hood out front, but without a frunk, proves to me immediately that they simply don't understand EVs. There is no excuse for wasting that much space for no benefit.

Well, it appears they finally did it, they found the worst possible place to put the charge port. The furthest possible corner from where the driver exits the vehicle, and therefore has to walk the longest distance to plug it in every night, and unplug every morning. But still on the opposite side of the car from where Tesla put theirs so it still won't sit nicely at a supercharger to take advantage of the new NACS port. Did they not put any thought at all into that location?
