@CC-jy4gr The problem with that approach is that whole market funds are based on market cap, so you end up most heavily invested in large cap growth. There's a strong argument to be made for putting extra funds into small cap and value to counter the natural bias of the market towards the companies that have already been successful previously (and hence are less likely to outperform going forward). I "tilt" about 8% of my portfolio to small cap value, and another 8% towards large cap value.
