  2. Gas stations are also unprofitable if we're just talking fuel. The trick is that they have added a store to sell all sorts of quick and convenient items, that's where the profit is. And that's where EV charging needs to go. I've long advocated that fast food chains along major highways should install chargers to draw people to those locations.
