  1. She didn't blame them for being in the situation. In fact she took no stand on underlying causes at all. But if you're going to fight a problem, it helps to actually understand it first, and lying about who's killing who won't help you fix anything! I fully agree that there are large societal issues that need to be addressed. But none of them will be addressed by calling the police racist, or having riots in the streets when the cops save a life by killing a violent criminal.
