  1. Bingo! Why do people think that the most important part of any person is their sexual orientation or their skin colour or gender? These should be the least important parts. If someone asks me about myself, they'll be listening a long time before my sexual orientation comes up (and if they can't already see me, I can guarantee my skin colour or racial heritage will NEVER come up). Instead I'll talk about my job, my hobbies, my stand on societal issues, etc. Why would I talk about what I do in the bedroom? that's not what defines me, nor is it any of anyone else's business.

  2.  @thatcanadianguy6966  Do you mean the party that insists on stereotyping you based on your sexual orientation and implementing all sorts of policies to try to pigeonhole you? or the party that indicates they may not approve of your activities, but that they certainly won't get involved in what 2 consenting adults do? Which is more "homophobic"?

  3. People are complicated. I drive an electric car, I have solar panels on my roof, I'm an Atheist, and I work in a unionized position in health care. I'm also a libertarian. I certainly feel the whole categorization thing. Apparently you're not allowed to believe in freedom of speech or thought, or small government while holding any opinion, or being part of any group, that the Left think they own. While I identify more as libertarian than conservative, I find the conservatives are much closer to my ideals than the so called "liberals", and are definitely far more tolerant of any diversity of thought.
