  3. Seems like this sentence was not for the stunt, not for crashing the plane, but for the obstruction of justice following the crash. If that's the case, then I don't believe any of those circumstances apply to the Red bull team. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be punished for disobeying a direct instruction from the FAA, they absolutely should be. But you can't directly compare the two incidents, as there are certainly different factors at play.
