  1. This is how EMS works. When paramedics get there, one paramedic talks to the patient, and the other one talks to whoever else is relevant on scene, in this case the police. The person talking to the patient is generally the lead attendant and the secondary attendant will talk to the police. They will then compare notes before making treatment decisions I'll agree that that kid looks young, and possibly a little unprofessional in his dress, but I have to assume that he's taking it all in so they can act on it appropriately. And yes, I do appreciate it that the police treat us like professionals and give us the information we need to do our job.
