Not his date. She said in the video that she kept turning him down. She's definitely not his responsibility.

I think you missed the conclusion a little bit. Regret is having a function, it's just not having the function that we would suspect it to have from an evolutionary standpoint. Regret is making the women feel that their own value is lower. That's why we are seeing that they are not increasing the quality of partner at t2, and why we are seeing them less likely to end up in a long-term relationship at t2. These are both indicators that they are feeling a lower value for themselves due to the regret from earlier on. I think you are correct in that from an evolutionary perspective we would expect a different result but that modern dating standards have changed that. But I do see regret is still having a function, I would just argue that that function is not positive in today's climate.

I believe that it is factual, just incomplete. There are hints though. She mentions that he has asked her out several times, which implies that she has turned him down several times. If she keeps saying no to him, why would he say yes to her? And why should she expect him to provide for her if she doesn't want to be with him?

Pretty obvious why wages haven't kept up. Double the workforce (add women), halve the value of labour. It's simple supply and demand.

She admits in the video that he keeps asking her out, and she keeps turning him down. It's hard to see someone as having long-term potential when they keep telling you no. So why then would you tell her yes?

@iSoldat no, she's pursuing his wallet, not him. She keeps turning down an actual relationship hoping that she can keep him in the friend zone and he'll keep paying for everything. Tonight he said no.

Why does everyone assume that it's dangerous to walk home at night? In many parts of many cities it is perfectly safe for anyone to walk three blocks at any time of day or night. In other parts of other cities it might be dangerous to walk the three blocks in broad daylight. She obviously didn't think it was dangerous, and she was the one actually there.
