  2. With inflation as it is right now, it doesn't surprise me at all when companies try to get more money out of us. The messaging here could really have been a whole lot less insulting though. Realistically, had they made the same decision, but implemented slightly differently, it wouldn't have seemed nearly as evil. Step one raise the price of the product. Step two wait for a minimum of six months. Step three introduce a lower price tier at the price you used to be but ad supported.
