  1. You were way too generous to Musk about the range extender. You didn't mention the fact that that item has no scheduled delivery date at all, likely will never exist, and even if it does, will probably deliver half the range at twice the price as was listed. As for the stainless steel, it may not even be three mm, knowing Tesla it's probably 1.5 which they claim is three

  2. Why not make it bulletproof? Because that would make it illegal to sell it in many jurisdictions. Though I suspect that as with many other Tesla things, they will claim to purchasers that it is bulletproof while claiming to regulators that it cannot stop a bullet. Just like they claim to purchasers that their vehicles can drive themselves, and then tell regulators that there is no situation under which that will ever happen.

  3.  @johntheux9238  for incredibly small calibers of bullet fired at long range. That said that would still make it illegal to sell in many countries. But I'm sure they will tell the regulators that it is not bulletproof while telling their customers that it is, just like they tell their customers it can drive itself while telling regulators that it never will.

  4. I don't know if there's an industry out there with more lies and hype than hydrogen. The hydrogen community is desperate to be the future of all energy storage, and they won't let any pesky little thing like physics get in their way! Unfortunately they are really really good at the lies and hype part, so they get a disproportionate amount of funding from our governments to perpetuate the lies and type. Money that could be far better used for real life energy storage solutions.
