@JBM425 every one I've gone to has specifically stated up front that you don't have to buy. The people luring you in aren't even the sales people, and every one of them has told me they don't care if I buy. I always tell them up front that I'm not going to buy, and they still want me to attend. I've warned them, it's on them if they still want to give me hundreds of dollars of free stuff to watch their presentation and say "no" a few times.

Interesting, I've done many of these presentations just for the free stuff, I've always gotten the freebie, and never had to pay. The presentations can be painful, but I find that I can usually get enough free stuff to be worth it to me.

I love timeshares. All I have to do is say "no" for about 2 hours and I can usually get hundreds, or even up to a thousand dollars worth of free stuff out of them. Buy one? I'm not stupid! I just take the bribe for attending the talk! Our last presentation got us a free week of hotel accommodation for the next vacation, the one before that got us hundreds of dollars in admission tickets for a couple concerts.

Interesting mention of the used market, I've noticed recently that most timeshare companies are cracking down on that by including non-transferable “bonuses“ on sign up that are often at least half the total value of what they're providing. Means that what you have left over to sell is worth even less!

The color white and the color blue are associated with EVs. No, Tesla has decided that white is the only color you can get without an up charge, and beyond that they only sell blue if you want something that's not gray black or white. I guess they do have red sometimes, but often that isn't even higher upcharge. They claim that human psychology is why people are buying boring colors, but humans are buying what manufacturers build, not the other way around in this case

Manufacturers are selling to dealers. Dealers want to know that every car sitting on their lot can appeal to the broadest range of people, as a result the dealers don't want to buy interesting colors. I feel like if you got rid of dealers and everyone bought directly from manufacturers we would suddenly see an explosion of color.
