  1. Dishwashers are actually very light. Especially the all plastic ones. People expect weight just due to the size, but it's mostly just air, the heaviest part is the motors, but they aren't all that big/heavy really.

  3. If that were the case, you'd be better off with a liquid/powder version of the same thing so you could get that stronger cleaning in both pre-wash and main cycles.

  4. by the time you have something for the pre-wash, it's easier just to use the same for both.
