  1. Takes a screwdriver to remove, and it makes a terrible screwdriver if you do. That tip is sharp! Ruins screw heads if you are careful, and will send you looking for bandages if you aren't.

  2. Only if you don't mind cuts on your hands. And buggered screwheads. Those things are quite sharp. You don't want to shoot an M44 with the bayo folded.

  4. Sounds like a modified M44. The bayos would get removed to make the gun a better shooter. I did that to mine.

  5. I had an M44 carbine. Kicked like a mofo, and you didn't want to shoot it with the bayo retracted unless you were wearing a heavy glove on your support hand. I heard that they were zeroed with the bayo deployed.

  6. Glad to see the training of Russian troops get to the level that they can be trusted with a detachable bayo/fighting knife.

  7. If memory serves, these are three fluted bayonets, not cruciform.
