  1. I can only suspect that Colt hasn't tried to market this because of the price. Finally a good use for the 5.56/.308 convertible receiver. Hardly necessary for 5.45 however. I put over 5000 rounds of 7n6 through a S&W M&P15 upper in 5.45. Great training carbine as long as the ammo was cheap.

  2. Only if they could hit a price point with it. Part of the reason AR platform guns are so cheap now is that so many different manufacturers are making the parts. There are enough unique parts on this that I would be surprised if it could be sold for less than a good custom AK. Would you pay $2K for something like this?

  3. A CK-901 in 5.45x39 that uses AK74 magazines? Now I want one even more. I have a 5.45 AR upper but it uses AR style magazines.
