@rabidsminions2079 Most people on the minimum wage work for small business which is going broke. If people on the minimum wage keep getting bigger pay rises they will catch up to people on the average wage, unskilled workers getting paid the same as skilled workers.

@rabidsminions2079 If profits go up at half the rate of inflation they are still record profits. Some companies are doing well at the moment but some are doing badly, it depends on the type of business. You can't expect to walk in off the street into a job and instantly be as well off as people who have worked their way up in the business over many years. Supply and demand determines wages and some are rising strongly because of high demand while others are going out of existence. Successful business's are like successful workers, they compete with each other for the best outcome.

Most people think it's because supermarkets have gotten greedy all of a sudden for no reason, funny how they weren't greedy under a Coalition Government, funny that.

@mickboyce386 Every business and everyone has always been greedy and always will be, some are more successful than others.
