  8. ​​ @footbru  WA can do whatever they like to backup their nuke plant like gas generation which can easily be turned on and off. Nukes wouldn't be the only source of generation anywhere in Australia, gas, renewables and batteries will play a role.

  10. ​​​ @footbru  This isn't my only interest in life, I am Australian and as my name says I am only interested in facts. Most of the major world is going nuclear and we are the only major country going all renewables except for maybe Finland with round the clock reliable hydro. It will be interesting to see how it pans out, the Coalition going early with nuclear or Labor eventually going nuclear or who knows maybe even back to coal, anything is possible, we are just observers like it or not. I am not being paid for this, it's just one of my many hobbies, and as for identifying myself there are too many crazies out there because I say things that people don't like, even though they are facts.
