NDIS workers are going to nursing homes to give residents someone different to talk to, going to people's homes to keep people company while they play video games, taking people to their friend's place to play video games all day and then driving them home to save them from getting the bus, taking them to clubs and pubs for a day out, taking them to the movies or play golf like a personal chauffeur.

@bob I am sure that you are right but I personally know of the rorts that I have mentioned because I know an NDIS worker.

@bob This NDIS worker who takes this guy on outings for entertainment 3 times a week found out that this guy had been getting the bus to his mate's place every Sunday for a long time. The worker then decided hey I will get paid penalty rates if I work Sundays so I will tell this guy hey I will chauffeur you there and back and we will hang out playing video games all day and then I will chauffeur you back home, and the guy said yeah OK.

@simongross3122 The problem is that NDIS workers don't want to care for severely disabled people when they have the choice to care for slightly disabled people so severely disabled people can't get the help that they need.

@bob Sure not a problem but rorting is still a massive problem by what this NDIS worker told me that he does, one job he does is keep a guy company while he walks around the grounds of a nursing home, another job is keeping a guy company while he plays video games in his parents home.

@bob Absolutely but I am talking about people who have no difficulty catching buses but get chauffeured by NDIS workers, I know an NDIS worker who told me that and what a rort it was for him to chauffeur this guy to his mate's place so that they can all play video games all day and then he chauffeurs him home again, when this guy used to get the bus there and back. That's all that the NDIS worker does for the day.

@satrah101 Dole bludgers are conning the NDIS into thinking that they are mentally disabled so that they can get personal chauffeurs to take them shopping, to the pub and anywhere else that they feel like, unbelievable.
