Housing won't get more affordable because mortgage payments will increase. Scrap negative gearing and renters will become buyers without investors to compete with.

@bogan-slayer7469 Being able to claim loan interest as a tax deduction against investment income is fine but claiming it as a tax deduction against your salary is ridiculous because your salary is not investment income. I didn't say that all property investors do that because I don't.
