A long history of sucking up to the Greens for their support and winning votes with bullshit instead of facts.

Pocock is a complete imbecile, he stuck his head into the too many scrums, what else would you expect from a raving left wing lunatic.

There is a big world demand for coal and gas for many purposes including electricity generation, steel production, manufacturing, heating, cooking the list goes on and on. Coal and liquified gas are our biggest export earners along with iron ore and that's what pays for everything that we import into Australia. If the Government bans new coal and gas projects Australia will gradually become a poorer country with the value of our dollar declining making imports more expensive. These are facts not opinions.
1
@kingjulian1549 That's funny because you need coal for steel production and China is still building new coal fired power stations as quickly as they can.
1
@kingjulian1549 Smog is carbon monoxide which is what they are worried about, they are not worried about carbon dioxide which is a natural occurring gas which comes out of volcanos and is necessary for plants and food to grow and oxygen for us to breathe. Most people don't know that and Greenies want to keep it a secret.
1
@kingjulian1549 We must have been in trouble back in the days of the dinosaurs when there was much more carbon dioxide in the air than what there is now. Volcanos are gradually reducing the amount of carbon dioxide that they are emitting eventually making the earth uninhabitable. Maybe you should move to the moon where there is no carbon dioxide and see how you like it. Do you really think that Australia can save the world from climate change if so you are kidding yourself but we can destroy our economy trying.

@kingjulian1549 We are closing down our coal fired power stations because private enterprise don't trust Labor Governments, but Queensland and WA aren't closing down their State Government owned ones, funny that.
1
@kingjulian1549 Wonderful we should be all set for calm cloudy days then, and have to dump worn out solar panels, windmills and batteries in 20 years time creating an environment nightmare and then have to import more with money that we don't have because Labor has banned new coal and gas projects losing us a fortune in export income.
1
@kingjulian1549 Cool as long as you are prepared to pay for it, which I doubt very much, you will want someone else to pay for it all while shutting down our biggest export earners which actually pays for everything.
1
@kingjulian1549 You are dreaming, the only thing standing between us and a third world economy is getting shit out of the ground and exporting it.
1
@kingjulian1549 We don't do anything, private enterprise does if there is a market for it, there is a growing market for hydrogen so private enterprise is involved in it, the more that Government stays out of the way the more that the country will prosper.

@tassied12 We don't export anything companies do, they take a risk with shareholders funds and either succeed or fail. It is none of anyones business but theirs. I suggest that you invest your money as you see fit and don't worry about how others invest theirs.
1
@tassied12 They can do what they like it's always where best to employ their capital. Government isn't there to tell companies how to invest shareholders money, but knocking back investment in anything to pretend to save the world from climate change is ridiculous.

I can't wait for Adam Bandt to come out squealing like a stuck pig, I was betrayed , I was betrayed.
1
Queensland a Labor state that owns horrible coal fired power stations that they will never close down, oh no we are doomed, doomed.
1
It's a nice calm cloudy day, how come the lights went out.

@williamwilson8144 Stupid Australians will have to suffer a lot more before it dawns on them that the Greens and TEALS are a pack of filthy lying imbeciles.
1
@williamwilson8144 It was always obvious that Labor would have to bend over backwards to get the Greens to get the numbers to form Government, unfortunately most Australians have no idea what is going on by just watching the evening news.
