  7.  @mw8308  That's cool only I did pay tax, don't believe the Greens, which actually pays for oranges imported into Australia, I invested to grow apples on the guarantee from Government that I could sell them at the world price, for years the world price was depressed and I was either making a loss or barely a profit but now is my opportunity to make up for those bad years. I note that some of the states could have been growing apples but they didn't want to lose a few votes so didn't and just hoped that the world price would stay low. My neighbour has now decided to grow apples overseas where the Government can be trusted which will create a shortage of apples in Australia. If the price is capped then they will sell in no time and everyone else won't be able to buy apples. I note that most people wouldn't risk their money to grow apples but whinge if someone else makes a profit from doing it, would that someone be you ? No charge for the economics lesson.
