  3.  @stephenconway2468  From a financial point of view if you have your own currency then you can't depend on the value of the EURO to bail you out from your own poor performance.

  4.  @stephenconway2468  The value of a nation's own currency is dependant on the economic performance of that nation compared to other nations. Most of Europe is like one big nation with the Euro as it's currency with the good parts propping up the bad parts.

  5.  @stephenconway2468  As I said a nation can have good and bad parts contributing to the value of the currency, if the UK performs badly it will cause it's currency to fall in value, separate from other things that affect the value of the currency.
