  1. If you have sent a wire transfer to a scam then notify the police in that country. Hong Kong police will freeze the bank account and advise you to contact a Hong Kong solicitor to recover the money, it worked for me.

  2. If an investment company doesn't have a licence to operate in your country have nothing to do with them, odds are you won't be able to withdraw your money.

  3. IRONFX had a licence to operate in Australia but they were calling people and signing them up to their scam version in Bermuda telling people that they were signing up to the Australian version. I saw through their scam and reported them to ASIC in Australia. Shortly afterwards they lost their Australian licence.

  4. An investment company must have a licence to operate in your country. Some scammers will pretend that they do but actually don't.
